So the MLB Draft isn't as big as the NFL or NBA Drafts, but it's getting to be more and more important every year as teams try to find you talent they can control cheaply. This year's draft on June 6th is considered very deep, especially with college pitchers. Here's my mock draft :
1) Pirates – Gerritt Cole, RHP, UCLA – Can throw 100mph. Has the potential to be an ace
2) Mariners – Danny Hultzen, LHP, Virginia – 3 plus pitches, potential #2 starter
3) Dbacks - Anthony Rendon, 3B, Rice – Great bat, some concern about shoulder injury
4) Orioles – Dylan Bundy, RHP, Owasso HS (OK) – Best HS arm 96 mph with a great cutter
5) Royals – Bubba Starling, OF, Gardner HS (KS) – Has offer to QB Nebraska, best athlete in draft
6) Nationals – Sonny Gray, RHP Vanderbilt – Great competitor, excellent curveball
7) Dbacks – Trevor Bauer, RHP UCLA – I LOVE THIS GUY ! Check out this video
